THE MOOSEMAN COMETH: Reader Submission Introduces Possible New Cryptid!

Hey guys, I’ve got a good reader submission for you today, moreso for the picture rather than the story as these usually go. Really I say that because I can’t take any credit for the story at all, as the reader requested that I don’t alter his words. Take a look at the picture, I look forward to reading your comments!

Jacob Bartholomew

Dear Reality Register,

First off, I want to tell you that I’ve been loving the site since I found it. It’s great to see someone telling the truth for once and not lying directly to their audience like we see so much these days.

I have something you may be interested in, as I found something weird on one of my trail cameras the other day and I think it’s right in your wheelhouse. I live in rural Maine and am an avid outdoorsman. I hunt occasionally, but really I just like seeing nature on my trail cameras. Most of the time I’ll get pictures of deer and the occasional bear, and if I put a camera looking out on the small pond on my property I’ll get a moose every once in a while if I’m lucky.

I’d noticed that a lot of the pondweed I had planted last year was starting to disappear, which usually points to a moose frequenting the area, but this time it was at a rate I’d never seen before. I put the trail camera out on Saturday and just collected it this morning. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw it; I thought someone must have been playing a trick on me. But I’m in the middle of nowhere, and the camera went off a little after 4 in the morning. It would take a pretty dedicated trickster to pull this thing off. BUT LOOK AT IT, HOW CRAZY IS THIS THING??

Paul’s Original Image

As you can see from the picture, it looks like a moose, but it clearly is wading into the pond on its hind legs and appears to have fingers like a man. I scoured the internet for any tales of a moosesquatch and found little gimmicky things, but no one claiming it to be a real thing. But here it is! It’s clear as day, and very weird. I don’t know, what do you make of it?

Thanks for reading this and looking. I don’t mind you printing my name or my story, but please don’t change my words as I don’t want this to appear as a story or something.

Thanks again,
Paul Buonanduci

Pretty spooky, huh? I’d never seen anything like that Paul, thanks for sharing!

If you have a story you would like to submit for publication on our site, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll take a look at it. I do some editing to ensure it’s up to our standards and to make myself feel worthy of a paycheck, but I do not change anything pertinent to the story as a whole. Thanks for reading!
