BIGFOOT’S BEST FRIEND? Disc Golfer Rescues Neglected SquatchDog, Plans To Smoke Up Bigfoot

PLAINVILLE – In the realm of cryptids and urban legends, few creatures capture the imagination quite like Bigfoot. But what if I told you that Bigfoot might have a four-legged companion roaming the woods of Plainville Massachusetts, and that disc golfer Cameron Derrickson stumbled upon this unlikely duo? Intrigued? Let’s delve into the fascinating tale of Cameron’s encounter with Squatchdog.

After his customary pregame trip to the dispensary, Cameron Derrickson, an avid disc golfer, set out to enjoy a day on the course. Armed with plastic discs and a relaxed demeanor courtesy of locally grown herbs, Cameron honed his skills at the practice goal before tackling the challenging holes of the course. Nestled in a local conservation area known as Hawkins Woods, the course offers a truly exhilarating disc golf experience, with some holes leading players into remote and rugged terrain.

“It was around hole 5 or six,” Cameron recounts, “I heard something in the rough brush. Not that I was in there chasing my disc. My control is just too good; I was out on the fairway because my discs are always on point.”

As Cameron approached hole 6, a shaggy brown beast emerged from the thick brush, boldly making its way toward the skilled athlete. “He walked right up to me,” Cameron recalls, “and then just sat there with his paw on my disc.”

Cameron shared this photo with us, saying “I see all sorts of weird prints out there. What he hell could make these tracks????”

Intrigued by the dog’s appearance and lack of tags or collar, Cameron speculated on the creature’s origins. “If this dog is tamed, but is not owned by any local humans, then he must be owned by something other than human,” he reasoned. “It’s probably not Dogman, even though that would be awesome, but it would be kind of like slavery for him to have a fellow canine for a pet. No, it had to be Bigfoot, because sometimes animals look like their owners, and this dog definitely looks like ol’ sweet sassy molassy.”

Not wanting to upset the legendary cryptid, Cameron led Squatchdog deep into the woods and tied him to a tree before returning to his game. “I had a great game, nothing but birdies and I almost got an ace. The vibe got a little weird – some stressed out dude was pacing up and down the course, clapping and whistling and calling out someone’s name. I think he must’ve lost his kid or something, but that’s not my problem.”

Reflecting on his encounter, Cameron expressed a willingness to share the woods with Bigfoot and his canine companion. “You know, the woods are there to be shared,” he muses. “And if Bigfoot wants to puff puff pass, then cool, I always bring enough to share. But he really needs to get with the times when it comes to leash laws. We all need to look out for each other.”

As rumors of Squatchdog spread throughout Plainville, Cameron Derrickson’s encounter serves as a captivating reminder of the mysteries that lie hidden within the depths of the forest. And who knows what other surprises await those brave enough to venture into the realm of the unknown? Perhaps, with a little luck, you might just find yourself face to face with Bigfoot’s best friend.
