From her early days on Disney Channel to her recent blockbuster hits, Zendaya’s talent has solidified her status as a rising star. However, amidst her rising popularity, there are misconceptions surrounding her attractiveness and acting abilities that need clarification.
Zendaya is Definitely Hot:
Don’t think about the fact that every single one of you went to college with dozens of girls that were objectively more beautiful, or the fact that your local Target has 35-year-old moms shopping there with more raw animal appeal. Instead, think about the models that Target put up all over the store. Is Zendaya hotter than them? Yes, she is. She’s hotter than Stan Dirkson and Jacob Bartholomew combined, but Moe Sinclair definitely gives her a run for her money. Don’t even bring up Hiram Glassman; he’s built like a twig with a mid face.
She is Actually a Good Actress:
When you see her in the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies, don’t compare her to Kirsten Dunst. Dunst actually embodied the comic book character and presented herself as a likable, vulnerable, and devoted person. It just plain made sense for Peter Parker to fall in love with her. Who wants to see that? We want to see a sullen, bored, coarse, and straight-up dumpy love interest for one of the few likable actors left in Hollywood. Why, Holland and Zendaya are dating in real life, so what does that tell you?
She Deserves to Go By a Single Name:
Like Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Adele, Zendaya is so accomplished that it only makes sense to refer to her with a single word. The aforementioned four women are among the best-selling and awarded artists to ever grace the planet, and Zendaya has an Emmy and a Golden Globe. While almost nobody knows who she is or has seen any of her works except the Spider-Man movies (and you know she molded her boytoy into being the perfect Peter Parker), surely her MTV Award will convince even the most skeptical Zendaya hater that she is worthy of all the praise.
No One Had Ever Heard of Dune Before She Signed On:
Who the hell is Paul Atreides? Every single ticket is a direct endorsement that Zendaya is transcendently beautiful and talented. Franz Hubert should be rolling over in his grave with gratitude now that his little-known novel is finally getting the big-screen treatment it deserves, and it’s all thanks to Zendaya.
Actually, Attractiveness is Subjective:
The very notion of evaluating a person’s physical beauty is laughable, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and no single quantifiable measure of beauty can be proven to exist. Furthermore, a famous actress doesn’t need the approval of the people who pay for the products that she produces, and she doesn’t need to be good at her job, or visually appeaaling.

While opinions may range from wrongly being unattracted to her to correctly worshipping her, Zendaya’s accomplishments speak for themselves, solidifying her status as a leading actress and cultural icon. Rather than succumbing to misconceptions, it’s essential to appreciate Zendaya’s contributions and celebrate her ongoing success in Hollywood.
